Health Screenings

Quick on-site health checks — track key indicators without an appointment.

Convenient on-site health screenings to help you monitor and maintain your overall wellness.

Health Screenings

What to Expect

Skip the long wait at the doctor's office. Our in-store health screenings give you fast, accurate readings on key health indicators while you wait — most under five minutes, no appointment needed.

Use them to catch issues early, monitor an existing condition, or just keep tabs on your health between annual physicals. We provide written results you can share with your doctor and can recommend follow-up care if anything's outside normal ranges.

Many screenings are free; some specialized ones have a small fee. Insurance often covers screenings flagged by your doctor — we bill directly when applicable.

What You Get

The benefits in detail.

Blood Pressure

Free walk-in BP checks any time. Track over time and we'll flag readings that need physician follow-up.

Cholesterol & Glucose

Finger-stick lipid panel and blood glucose. Results in 5 minutes with a printed copy for your records.

A1C Diabetes Monitoring

Three-month average blood sugar — the gold standard for diabetes monitoring. Done in-store with point-of-care testing.

Pharmacist Consultation

Every screening includes pharmacist interpretation. We explain what the numbers mean and what to do next.

Who It's For

This is especially helpful for…

  • Adults with hypertension monitoring needs
  • People recently started on a new medication
  • Diabetes patients tracking glucose or A1C
  • Anyone curious about their cholesterol or BP
  • Patients between annual physicals

How It Works

Three simple steps.

01

Walk in (or schedule)

BP checks are walk-in any time. Cholesterol and A1C are best with a quick call ahead — they take 5–10 minutes.

02

Quick test + reading

BP cuff or finger-stick blood draw. Results print on the spot.

03

Review with pharmacist

We explain the numbers, compare to prior readings if we have them, and recommend follow-up if needed.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Do I need to fast for cholesterol testing?

For an accurate fasting lipid panel, yes — 9 to 12 hours of fasting (water only). We can do non-fasting lipids too; we'll note it on the result for your doctor.

Is the screening as accurate as a lab draw?

Point-of-care tests are excellent for screening and monitoring trends. For a confirmatory diagnosis or pre-treatment baseline, a lab draw is still the standard.

How often should I get screened?

BP at every pharmacy visit is reasonable. Cholesterol every 4–6 years for healthy adults, more often if abnormal. A1C every 3–6 months for diabetics, annually for at-risk adults.

Will my insurance cover it?

Most BP checks are free regardless. Cholesterol and A1C are often covered when ordered by a doctor or as part of a wellness benefit; we'll verify before the test.
